PREACHING TO THE BIRDS
St. Francis is represented in this part of the fresco on his way to Bevagna, where he stops to preach to the birds who are portrayed in exultation. Meanwhile the scene is observed by St. Francis’ companions who are waiting for him in the road. Thanks to the superlative quality but also to the theme, this is surely the most famous scene in the entire cycle.

LA PREDICA AGLI UCCELLI
In questo scomparto è rappresentato Francesco che, mentre si sta recando a Bevagna, si ferma a predicare agli uccelli, i quali vengono rappresentati esultanti. Nel frattempo la scena viene osservata dai compagni di San Francesco che lo attendono in strada.
Grazie alla qualità superlativa, ma anche al tema qui trattato, questa risulta sicuramente la scena più famosa di tutto il ciclo.
