Giuliano, the brother of Lorenzo the Magnificent, was murdered by Francesco de’ Pazzi on the 26th April, 1478. The famous conspiracy, supported by the pope and especially the bishop of Pisa, aimed to free Florence of the Medici family dominion. Nothing passionate, only politics. |
