Goro di Gregorio   San Cerbone davanti al Papa Goro firmava l'arca di S. Cerbone della cattedrale di Massa Marittima nel 1324: negli anni, cioè, della maturità di Tino di Camaino e di Simone Martini. In un'atmosfera svagata ed estatica, la sottile tensione lirica di Goro insegue fantasticherie di fascinosa eleganza, animate di vibrazioni sottili dal tenue chiaroscuro che in linea dolcemente ritaglia e modula in una materia duttile, calda.
