Anonimo    Seggio pieghevole È ritenuto di età longobarda, o dei primordi dell'età carolingia, anche questo oggetto che costituisce un «unicum» tra i reperti del genere; fu rinvenuto anni or sono nel letto del Ticino, a Pavia. Il suo inserimento nella sequenza delle sculture e oreficerie si giustifica con la finezza tecnica e il pregio artistico delle agemine in oro, argento e piombo di cui si adorna.	Anonimo    Folding seat Presumably from the Longobard period or early Carolingian, this object is also a “unique” piece of its kind. It was found some years ago in the bed of the River Ticino in Pavia. Its insertion in the sequence of sculptures and jewellery is justified by the technical delicacy and the artistic value of the damascening steel set in gold, silver and lead.
