Orso     Pluteo Riecheggiatore provinciale, e assai rozzo, delle formule affluite in Umbria presumibilmente dall'Italia del Nord, il maestro Orso, che firma nel 739 quest'opera, mostra di aver guardato attentamente anche alla tradizione tardo ravennate, accogliendone l'intavolazione simmetrica e la stesura appiattita e rilisciata.	Orso     Relief on pluteus A provincial and rather crude follower of the formulas prevailing in Umbria, presumably derived from northern Italy. Magister Ursus, who signs this work in 739, shows that he has also studied the late style of Ravenna, from which he had taken the symmetrical layout and smooth, flattened carving technique.
