Théodon Jean Baptiste    Il trionfo della Fede La posizione simmetrica rispetta all'altare imponeva naturalmente soluzioni compositive speculari, tanto che non è neppure da escludere che l'architetto stesso abbia disegnato i gruppi; entro questo schema però le figure si agitano con frenetica instabilità, capovolgendo ed annullando la stabilità delle linee strutturali. It is not unlikely that the Jesuit architect Pozzo may have designed both groups himself. But within this design the figures are so agitated as to overturn and cancel the stability of the structural line.
