dello sguardo che tende i lineamenti: pare che Michelangelo abbia
ritrovato l'interioritą fisionomica dei ritratti romani. |

expressed in a light accentuation of details within the calm, classical
imposing figure. It is the twisting of the wrist, the agility of the joints,
the movement of the head, the concentration of the look that pulls the
features towards us. It seems that Michelangelo has found the physiognomic
inwardness of Roman portraits.
