Amongst the most recent but not less interesting fountains, one must not forget the Fontane delle Rane, built in Mincio square in 1924 and designed by an architect called Gino Coppede. On a circular low basin just a little higher than road level four couples each holding a large conch-shell on which can be found a frog that is spouting water. In the center of the fountain between the statues, higher up is another large circular conch-shell that has eight regularly spaced frogs in a leaping position heading towards the central spout.
 

Tra le fontane più recenti, ma non per questo meno interessanti, è da conoscere la fontana delle rane, realizzata in piazza Mincio nel 1924 su disegno dell'architetto Gino Coppedè. Su un basso bacino circolare, appena più alto del piano stradale, quattro coppie di figure sorreggono ciascuna una conchiglia che ospita una rana che versa acqua nella conchiglia stessa. Al centro del bacino, tra le quattro conchiglie si innalza una conca pure circolare, sul bordo della quale trovano ordinatamente posto altre otto rane in atto si spiccare un salto verso lo zampillo centrale.
