Thais inizia un nuovo capitolo dedicato alle città d'Italia e partendo da Como, Firenze e Milano, racconterà in un discorso didascalico ma completato da un'abbondante raccolta iconografica, le realtà ed il carattere delle nostre belle città, cercando di scoprire il "genius loci" presente soprattutto nei centri storici tuttora vivissimi, agganciato a storia e costumi diversi. La nostra ambizione è di riuscire nel tempo a completare una panoramica esauriente del territorio. A dar spunto al discorso introduttivo di ogni argomento è un estratto dal "Nuovo dizionario geografico universale" edito in Venezia nel lontano 1826, discorso che evidenzia il progresso realizzato in 170 anni di storia italiana e che ci dà un'idea delle realtà legate alle tradizioni cittadine. I percorsi culturali di ogni luogo sono facilitati da una cartina interattiva dove ognuno può inventarsi gli itinerari cittadini che virtualmente vuole realizzare. Crediamo di fare opera utile per chi vuole visitare il nostro paese e per chi avendolo già visitato rinfresca la memoria godendosi le immagini inedite appositamente realizzate da Thais per i suoi visitatori.

"Thais offers a new chain dedicated to the Cities of Italy, beginning with Como, Florence and Milan, using didactics but completed by abundant icongraphics and showing the realities and character of our beautiful cites, trying to discover the "local genius" present in the lively, historical centres as well as the history and diverse customs of the cities themselves. It is our desire to complete the chain by presenting a panoramic view of the territory.To introduce each subject is an extract from the "New Univesal Geographical Dictionary" published in Venice in far-off 1826., which highlights the progress made in 170 years of Italian history and gives us an idea of reality linked to tradition. The cultural paths of the city are facilitated by an interractive map which allow the user to invent his own itinerary which may later be carried out. We believe this to be a useful work for those who wish to visit our country and for those who have already visited it and want to refresh their memory through the unedited images purposely created by Thais for its visitors.
