1497 is on a wall of the refectory of the Dominican monastery in St.
Mary of Grace church.

It is the oldest milanese museum (1618), opened
to house the rich collection of paintings donated by cardinal
Borromeo. Some of the masterpieces are: The “Musico” by
Leonardo, The “Madonna del Padiglione” by Sandro Botticelli,
some paintings by Tiziano, Raffaello’s drawing on cartoon
representing the “School of Athens”, and the “Canestra” by
Caravaggio are now.
E’ il più antico museo
milanese, aperto nel 1618 grazie alla donazione di Federico Borromeo
e arricchito da successivi lasciti. Sono visibili capolavori quali: la “Canestra”
